Allium cernuum (nodding onion) is a native wildflower found in meadows, along rocky bluffs and ditches. With a purple globular flowers that hang downward, they really do look like they’re nodding off into a nap! Allium cernuum will naturalize slowly when in medium loamy soil, spread can be prevented by deadheading after blooming. Great for rock gardens, cottage gardens, borders.
