This fantastic sedge is native to the southeastern and south central US, primarily found in lowland areas and woodlands. Its attractive feathery foliage forms slowly spreading clumps to create a lovely massed effect over time. Good for mass groundcover plantings, but can also be used as an accent grass in smaller gardens. Has wheat like bloom stalks in autumn. Great for naturalized areas, native plant gardens, woodland gardens and rock gardens.
