Coreopsis tripteris is a tall, hardy wildflower native to prairies and open woodlands across the US. It thrives in difficult conditions, including rocky or sandy soil. Features tall stalks with yellow daisy like flower that bloom late Summer-Fall. A good option for back of border, naturalized areas or prairie plantings. It has an airy feel which makes it less imposing than other large perennials. Self seeds.
