Panicum virgatum ‘Northwind’ is an upright fountain grass known for its extreme drought tolerance, hardiness and structural interest in the landscape. Introduced by garden superstar Roy Diblik, it won perennial plant of the year in 2014. it features a strong upright form, billowing seed heads and performs in a wide range of situations.
